BusinessWeek is reporting that Microsoft’s Internet Explorer 8 ‘may block ads’. It describes how a privacy feature included in the browser would prevent 3rd party data being displayed on a site. While this would enhance privacy, it would also disable things like widgets, and — as the article mentions — ads placed by a 3rd party.

I know what the next piece of the credit bubble is, now. Driving home from the gym today, I heard an ad for this on the radio: Doctors Say Yes.
They say everyone deserves cosmetic surgery, so they guarantee financing to EVERYONE.
One of the surgeries they advertised was liposuction… I can just imagine the repo-man coming to the door to put your fat back in.
